While we had a pretty mild December, winter truly set in in January. The lake ice got thick enough to allow local fishermen to bring out their ice-fishing houses, and Sue demonstrated her own techniques for this wintry sport. Katie also started her dance competitions in January with a performance at Hollywood Connections in Denver.
